Petite Fashion Friday

As much as I love the Winter, it can be so dreary – brown leaves, dead trees, grey skies, and dirty snow in the streets after Blizzard2016, yuck.  And then the clothes, ugh, are just dark colors galore.  It’s no wonder that so many people suffer from the winter blues.  So, it’s really nice to be able to incorporate fun prints and patterns into the winter wardrobe, if, for nothing else, to make me feel a little less blah until the Spring.  Today, I’m wearing the Loft Petite Curvy Wild Orchid Pencil Skirt (0P).

This skirt’s floral pattern is the right medicine for the winter doldrums.  designed to flatter curves with a more fitted waist and perfectly placed seaming, a flirty shirttail hem updates this wildly pretty pencil. done in our doubleweave cotton fabric – a refined weave that perfectly stretches across for a polished look.

I paired this outfit with a pair of animal print heels from Target.  It just seemed too boring to go with black heels (well, that, and also, my 2 pairs of black heels are under my desk in my office, and need to be replaced in any event).
