Sunday Share with my Sister

Sunday….why do you show up so fast??? ‘Twas a busy weekend!! Little man (aka Aidan) had basketball and all the running around necessary to go to Hubs Christmas party.

First…basketball !This is week #2 of the Upward season. This year…he is a King (like the Sacremento Kings).  He had a great game…puts some points on the board and played some DE-fense!!! We are so proud of him! He loves this sport just as much as Julian!

What did I wear, you ask?  Thanks for asking…..Lindsay kimono (LuLaroe)// “Go Jesus, It’s Your Birthday”! Tee (Prep Obsessed)//Red Leggings (LuLaroe)//White Slip on Chuck Taylors (Zappos)//Pearl necklace (Loft)

I can’t say enough about this outfit. Everything about it I LOVE– from the buttery soft leggings to the statement shirt to the kimono.

The Lindsay is my newest LuLaroe purchase/obsession.  It’s thin enough to not be hot on warm days but thick enough to be warm on cool days. Want a better pic??See???? Isn’t she precious?

“Wife.Mom.BOSS” shirt ({a}Haley Boutique)//Black leggings (LuLaroe)

If you’ve been reading, then you KNOW our resident Petite Gal is my/ our LuLaroe GirlBOSS! (FB: LuLaroe ~ Monica Vignier)

After basketball and errands, it was time to get ready for Hubs company Christmas party. Truth be told, I look forward to this every year because outside of this….I don’t really have an occasion to dress up! #newdress

Lace Capped dress -Vintage Champagne (J.Crew Factory)//Fioni Jubilee Platform Pump (Payless)//Gold Statement necklace (Charming Charlie)

Close up??

I can’t say enough about this dress!! I will say that I can add this dress to my “What they WANTED…What they GOT..” segment that I want to continue to build. Here’s the story- I ordered this online in petite in my size. Well…I went on a limb because I was in love when I saw it online. When I received it in the mail…I tried it on…..BOOB SMOOSHER!   Do you see it??? I was bummed!!! Here I found the perfect dress and it fit every where but the upper part! (Damn broad back!! Damn you swimming and CrossFit for contributing!). I was able to exchange the dress at my local store, which I didn’t know we had, and get the regular size. Yes petite ladies….I went NON PETITE because it didn’t fit correctly. 😱. Any way, What they WANTED for the dress (originally online) was $108….What they GOT (online) was $54.  But wait…there’s more! Upon my exchange, the price went down more, so What they WANTED was $108…What they GOT was $43! SCORE!
I was pretty pleased with my outfit selections this Sunday! That’s a first….

Until next week, my gals! Happy Sunday and thanks for reading! ❤️

Wow!! I looked to see when my last post was….October!!  How did time slip that fast? Life gets in the way, that’s one thing for sure!

Cooler weather is starting to surface here in the Sunshine State. We Floridians will use any excuse to bring out sweaters, scarves, boots, jackets…even if that means the temperature only drops to 70! 😂

C’mom and see what I pulled out of my arsenal for the temp change…

Puffy Monogram Black Vest (Marley Lilly)// Relaxed White Tee (Old Navy)// Grey Rock Star Jeans (Old Navy)// White Converse Slip on (Zappos)

My likes:

  • I have need wanting this vest for ever!!! Marley Lilly had a recent sale, like $30 off, so I ran with it!! It’s so cute and comfy…
  • These jeans are everything! I was hesitant on grey jeans because I wasn’t quite sure it was going to look good on me.

My dislikes:

  • It only comes in one other color…so I bought it! 😂

How I “Roe’d” this past week…Randy T (LuLaroe)// Vest (The Ikat Elephant Boutique)// Black Leggings (LuLaroe

My shoes????

Source: Toms.com

Grey Del Ray Sneakers (Toms)

My likes:

  • If you have never tried or been in a pair of LuLaroe leggings…listen to me! You OWE it to yourself to purchase a pair! These are so soft and comfy! And…I know a consultant if your are interested! LuLaroe ~ Monica Vignier. #youvebeenWARNED
  • The leggings are NOT see through! Seems to me that manufacturers are making leggings so thin! Another FINE reason to go LuLaroe! (see above for consultant! 😂😉)
  • This vest I use a lot! It does well over shirts and dresses! The color compliments many items in my wardrobe!!  If you find something like this, buy it!

My dislikes:

  • Sometimes…sometimes…this vest makes me look a little chunky, so I worry about using it too much! #bodyissues

This week went fast and now we are looking at 🦃 Turkey Day🦃 and I just saw in the store it is 34 shopping days until 🎄Christmas🎄! Whaaaaaaaa???

To all my Florida peeps, enjoy this lovely weather!!   You know by next week it will be back in the high 80s!!  I hope those of you that aren’t in the Sunshine State are enjoying your state’s weather, too!!

Happy Sunday and thanks for reading!❤️

Hello every body!!  Another Sunday is here and more clothes to share! Our fearless petite gal/ fashion idol/ LuLaroe consultant is still in queue, waiting for the call to get her LuLaroe inventory. Keep those prayers coming that she will get her stuff soon! I can’t wait and I hope that you are excited to experience all that is LuLaroe.

If you’ve been reading, you have been witnessing my boring transformation from my monotone colored clothing to LuLaHellYeah colors and patterns. My style of clothing hasn’t necessarily changed much (because I know what works for me and what doesn’t) but my fear of patterns has definitely changed! Let’s take a walk….

Cassie Arrow skirt (LuLaroe) // Yellow top (NY & Co ) // Black ballet flats (Payless)

My likes:

  • Color. Yellow! What can I say about you? I’ve been fearful of this color for quite sometime! I see it on other people and think it looks great and when I get it to me…no me gusta! But this skirt made me want to give it another shot! I’m glad I did…because I love it!
  • Pattern. How could you not like the arrow pattern? This was a first for me and I’m glad that I picked it! I believe petite gal and I will be #twinning at some point because she has the same Cassie!!

My dislikes:

  • Shoes! Ugh…I can’t say enough about my shoes! I buy way too many clothing items and don’t even think about what shoes I may (more like don’t) have! I have incorporated more flats but I have just the basic.  And these shoes really bring this outfit down….! Work in progress, folks! Stay with me!!

Amelia (LuLaroe)

This was a two LLR outfit week. I really don’t know why I said that because there have been weeks with more than 2 outfits  a week. Hell…there have been some weeks when I have bought more than 2 LLR pieces in a week!!

My likes:

  • Color. You can’t really tell from this picture, but it’s navy blue with a white pattern.  Anything nautical looking is fine in my book!
  • Dress. If there has EVER been a dress/outfit that I am crazy about, it’s THIS dress! I went out on a limb and wore this dress with my Chuck Taylor’s!! (Truth be told…to work!!😁).

Let’s see what this week holds for me!

If you haven’t found our petite gal, look for her:

Happy Sunday and Thanks for reading!❤️

Hi guys!!! It’s been a few Sunday’s since we last chatted! I’ve been all kinds of busy and realized that I need to get back to posting- both here at my own blog.  I’ve over scheduled myself the last few weeks and basically got off track! I will use today as a new starting point!

I know that you’ve been reading here and you know our resident petite gal is now a LuLaRoe Consultant! Beyond excited for her and this new adventure!! Which basically means more clothes for me; which also means less money in my bank account! 😂. She’s still in queue for her inventory but I hope that you’ve had the opportunity to join her FB page (LuLaroe~Monica Vignier) to see and participate in giveaways!  I can’t wait for you to see all the LuLaSTUFF she’s going to have!

Speaking of LuLa, I copped this beauty a few weeks ago….Loves…. Meet Amelia!! I believe you’ve seen her before on me in a different pattern, but here she is again! This is my FAVORITE LuLaroe dress!!!

I went GAGA over this pattern and colors.  If you read my blog, you know that I LOVE my University of Florida Gators! And as an alumni, I feel it NECESSARY to own some pieces that represent my school in style!! 😉.

This dress is very comfortable! I haven’t had the opportunity to dress his down but this would be so cute with my Chuck Taylors, too!!

I also have a new LuLaroe shirt…

Say hi to Randy!  I can’t get enough of baseball tees.  Just like the dresses, there are MANY patterns! You can select to have the on the shirt OR on the sleeves. I went with the sleeves. A closer look….

This can be worn with jeans or….leggings!!! (PS…I just bought some leggings that match the blue in the sleeves!)

Thanks for having me back this Sunday! Hope you have a chance to check out the LuLaroe Mo has!! You won’t be sorry….

Happy Sunday! Thanks for reading! ❤️

Petite Fashion Friday (September 16)

Happy Friday, ya’ll.  I hope everyone has had a great week!  I am still basking in the joy of having been able to meet two of my best girlfriends up in Delaware for a girls mini one-night getaway!  Since they live in New York and I live in the DC area, Delaware is the half way point for us.  With our busy schedules filled with work, kids, and, well, LIFE, we only get to see each other a few times a year.  And to make it easier on us all, we will meet up in Delaware to catch up, sit by the pool, get tattoos (!), go out for dinner/drinks, TALK, LAUGH, and then pretend that we can stay up late when in fact we pass out by midnight.  Fun times!

Getting our ‘Roe on!

But back to reality!  Fortunately, I felt pretty inspired with my outfit choices this week.  Yeah, I have on lots of LuLaRoe, but I can’t help it if LuLaRoe is an excellent compliment to what I already have in my closet!

img_3867-1
On Saturday, while I was driving to meet the girls, my Wolverines played. Saturdays mean I have to represent and wear Maize and Blue!  Fortunately, I found a pair of maize and blue LuLaRoe leggings to wear on the drive – comfy and full of team spirit!

(Top: H&M; Shoes: Banana Republic; Necklace: Charming Charlie)

img_3820-1I work from home several days a week, and I’ll be honest, it’s hard to motivate myself to do more than keep on my pajamas all day!  I’m lucky if I can muster up the strength to shower!  Sorry, but that’s the truth.  But, I will say, since submitting paperwork to LuLaRoe, I have focused a bit more on looking presentable on the days when I am at home. And that’s a win in my book.

I still like to be comfy, though, when I telework, so I found the perfect LBD in my closet from H&M that still had the tags on.  I didn’t even know it was in there. So, it felt like Christmas getting dressed that morning!

(Cardigan: LuLaRoe Sarah Cardigan; Shoes: Banana Republic; Necklace: Charming Charlie)

img_3831-1

On another day that I worked from home, I decided to do a little less dressy than the LBD day.  Also, one of the LuLaRoe consultants on my team had to take her 3 year old daughter for her third open heart surgery, so we all decided to wear red in support.  Of course, red isn’t a color I have a great deal of, given my dislike of Ohio State and anything red and gray, so it was hard to find something to wear. Fortunately, I found a sorta red LuLaRoe Randy tee.  As I understand it, my teammate’s daughter is resting and recovering!

(Shorts: Old Navy; Shoes: Tommy Hilfiger)

img_3898-1

And, finally, today’s outfit had to be yellow/gold because September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and every Friday at my kids’ school, they #gogold to spread the word.  There’s not a lot of yellow or gold in my closet, either, so this proved to be a challenge. But, this beautiful yellow pleated skirt from Banana Republic did the trick!

(Top: LuLaRoe Classic T; Shoes: Carlos Santana; Necklace: H&M)

Also, stay tuned for another Trunk CluB review, which should be coming your way early next week!

I hope everyone has a fabulous Friday and weekend!

Stitch Fix #8 Review

Hey everyone!  It has been a few months since I last received a fix, and I have been so busy getting ready to become a LuLaRoe Fashion Consultant that I totally forgot that I even scheduled this fix after my last one in June.  You can imagine my surprise when I received an email saying my fix was on its way.  (If you don’t know what Stitch Fix is, and are interested in learning more, scroll down to the bottom of this post).

img_1338

Yikes.  I need to pay better attention to these things, for sure.  And since I didn’t even remember that I had scheduled this fix, I didn’t even add any comments or anything in advance, like I normally do.  So, yeah, I was super nervous that I would get sent some crap, especially since Amanda hadn’t been available these last few fixes.

When I checked in the app to see what was in the fix, I was really disappointed with what I saw, and was feeling quite sad that I hadn’t paid better attention!

Since I’ve had a string of bad luck in fixes, even where I give loads of feedback, I simply didn’t think there was a snowball’s chance in hell that I would be happy with any of these pieces, as they weren’t colors that I loved and the damn sure weren’t prices I love.  Practically everything $100?  I mean, really, a $118 blouse?  That’s way more than I’d wish to spend on most things, and especially a shirt that I figured would be too big anyway.

But, I am here to tell you folks that as great as I think it is that you can preview what’s in your fix, you really should reserve judgment.  You simply cannot, I repeat CANNOT, judge your fix until you actually receive it.  And, you must try everything on before crapping all over it.  You absolutely have to give everything a chance, because you may find something you like, even if it’s meh when you pull it out of the box!

This fix is definitely proof that you need to wait and be optimistic!  I had all but written off everything in this fix and wasn’t even going to try anything on.  And I was mad that I was going to lose my styling fee.  But then I decided to try stuff on just to be sure.  Once I started trying things on, I ended up really liking this fix a great deal despite that first impression!!!  Lesson learned.

Kut From The Kloth Dollee Knit Dress – KEPT

Size 0
Size 0

So, yeah, I just knew I was going to dislike this dress when I previewed.  I thought I’d hate the dark color and the cut of the dress.  I also assumed it would be too big.  And when I pulled it out of the box, I really didn’t like the wrap in the front.  It seemed too busy and not my style at all.  Yeah, I was wrong.  I put the dress on and LOVED it!  img_3725-1I mean, this dress fits me like a glove. I like the wine color in person (although, admittedly, if this dress were in blue or a shade of green, I would have LOVED it even more).  And, again, this dress fits like it was made especially for me.  That RARELY, if ever, happens to me.  Now, I wasn’t excited about the price, as it’s more than I would like to spend.  But the hubs saw me snapping pictures of this dress and he was like, “DAMN, you NEED to get that dress.”  And when I told him it was expensive, and he responded “$98 isn’t expensive for a dress,” that was all I needed to know.  Nuff said.

Liverpool Kolten Denim Jacket – RETURNED

Size XS
Size XS

First impression on this one was meh. I already own 2 denim jackets, and I am not a fan of light-colored denim in any event.  After trying on, yeah, still meh.

There’s nothing wrong with this jacket per se, but it simply did absolutely nothing for me.  Yeah, it’s super soft – it doesn’t even feel like denim – but, I don’t like the color.  And, as I said, I already have 2 jean jackets that I really like, so I wouldn’t even consider buying this denim jacket at half the cost.  It was easy to pass on this one.

Free Heary Zacarias Unfinished Hem Top – KEPT

Size XS
Size XS

I was super meh about this top when I saw the preview, although, truthfully, I considered buying it regardless of how it fit so I wouldn’t lose my styling fee. When I pulled this top out of the box, I felt even more meh.  The top was fine, but there just didn’t seem to be anything special about it, either.  And I didn’t love the color, which seemed to pastel for my liking.  When I tried it on the first time, just to see if it would fit, I liked the way it fit, but was otherwise underwhelmed.  But I know you can see that I marked KEPT above, so what changed, you may be wondering?  Well, I tired it on and styled it. And loved it.

img_3723

Yeah, I really loved the way this top looked once I put it on a second time. Maybe I just really like this outfit I put together, but this top went from being meh to wow! It sits right above my hips, which means it is the PERFECT length.  That NEVER happens for me when it’s not a petite size (which this isn’t). I dunno.  I just love the way I look in this top, there no other way to explain it.  The color looks so pretty against white, and I am sure it will look amazing with a bunch of other pieces in my wardrobe. Even the hubs was on board with this top.  And he’s the type of guy who is really annoyed with how much I spend on clothes. So for him to encourage me to buy something else from this fix, when he knows I am about to become a LuLaRoe Fashion Consultant, I knew I had to get this top, too.

Amour Vert For Stitch Fix Allessandro Silk V-Neck Blouse – RETURNED

Size XS
Size XS

So, my first impression on this top was that it was just way too expensive.  I am pretty sure that I have never bought a shirt for $118, not once.  And price notwithstanding, I figured this blouse would be way too big (it’s not petite) and way too long.  I also didn’t love the print.  I pretty much felt the same once I opened the box.  But, I was super surprised when I actually put it on and

loved it.img_3731Well, I loved the print once I had it on.  And this blouse is made out a very slinky material, so it feels so nice against the skin.  way it looks in the front.  It’s longer than I would normally wear, and it’s a tad roomy, but it somehow just works.  It looks great from the front, and as styled, I think it looks really cute with skinny jeans and heels. I could definitely see myself wearing this for GNO or date night. But then I turned around, and UGH, the back of this blouse, tho…

img_3732-1

The back is no bueno.  It looks like a too-large pair of pajamas.  It looks very bad on me from this view, and that, coupled with the price tag, means this had to go back.

Lila Ryan Dorianna Skinny Jean – RETURNED

Size 0P
Size 0P

So, I always like receiving skinny jeans, and I believe I have asked for these previously without luck, so I had a feeling that I would love the cut and fit.  But, my first impression was that I wouldn’t like the color.  I actually already own a pair of green skinny jeans from Stitch Fix, so I wasn’t keen on buying another pair.

And after trying them on, I was right.  I absolutely loved how they fit.  LIke a glove.  Although, my arse is starting to look a little KK-ish.  Anywho, if I didn’t already own a similar pair, I would have definitely bought these.  But I do.  So, I can’t justify buying these, especially not at this price.

Okay, and there you have it.  What I thought was going to be a god-awful fix ended up being pretty awesome.  I kept the two pieces, and only really disliked one of the remaining.  Not bad, in my book.  I think this is because Amanda is back to styling me n(where were you my last two fixes, Amber???).  Thank goodness!  We are back in business, Stitch Fix!

Petite Fashion Friday (September 9)

Happy, Friday, everyone! I am so excited for this weekend. My kids’ first soccer games are tomorrow and I am going to meet two of my best friends on Saturday afternoon in Delaware, which is half-way in between where we live, for a mini, teeny tiny girls’ getaway. Hey, you have to fit it in when- and where ever you can!

So, as I mentioned last week, I sublimated paperwork to become a LuLaRoe Fashion Consultant, which I am super excited about.  I decided to do this in part because I love the clothing sooo much, which you will see by my outfits for this week.  (NOTE: I don’t want to bore you every Friday wearing only LuLaRoe, so not to worry, I haven’t given up on my love of clothing!)

I’m wearing the LuLaRoe Julia dress here.  I have already shown you this dress in a more dressy look, but here it is for a casual look.  I had to go furniture shopping with the hubs while their grandma was watching them, so I wanted to look cute but also be comfy.  The dress is log if you are short like me, but I actually prefer it this way!  This dress is great for work and at play!

(Sandals: Steve Madden; Belt: Mossimo Supply Co; Necklace: My kids made it!)

Here, I am wearing the LuLaRoe Irma top with a pair of buttery soft leggings in a colorful print.  You can definitely see me coming and going, peeps!  I love it.  The Irma is an oversized top that looks great with leggings, and even with a pencil skirt or skinny jeans.  I love the stone color on this one, which really brings out the light grey color in my leggings.

(Sandals: Steve Madden; Necklace: H&M)

And last but not least, here is my favorite outfit from this week!  You know I love pencil skirts, and so I put on my favorite black pencil skirt from Ann Taylor.  I just love how slimming this skirt is.  I paired this skirt with a black and white stripped crop top from Banana Republic, and a Bianka kimono from, you guessed it, LuLaRoe.  I love the black and turquoise stripes on this Bianka kimono.  Note: the Bianka kimono is a girl’s style, but if you get size 3, which is like an oversized size 10/12 girls, you have a kimono that fits the petite frame PERFECTLY!

I’m also really getting the hang of pattern mixing, folks!  I just love mixing my stripes, which really creates a nice long and lean look.  And in the spirit of mixing colors and patterns, I am wearing a pair of brown and white polka dot pumps with a teal trim.

(Shoes: Steve Madden)

Well, that’s it for this week, folks.  I hope that everyone enjoys the rest of their Friday, and has an awesome weekend.  Stay tuned for a review of my latest Stitch Fix box, which will post on Sunday!

Sunday Share with my Sister

Morning all!! It’s another Sunday, but not just ANY Sunday!! It’s my mom’s BIRTHDAY!!!

THIS lady right here gave Mo and I everything we know about everything! From Fashionistas to Motherhood (Ohhhh, I like that name for something!), she gave it to us! I hope she has the happiest of birthdays because she deserves it! ❤️

Mom is rocking Lularoe’s Cassie polka dot skirt and like a BOSS she pattern mixed with a striped tee (probably from NY&Co, knowing Mom😉).  Mo bought this for her during her last visit to the DVC in August. I’m positive she will be hooked just like the rest of us!! #rehab

Her outfit is a perfect Segway into what I wanted to share today! I’m so excited to share that our resident petite gal is now a Lularoe Fashion Consultant!  She can tell you all you need to know! I’m sure you’ve seen my recent posts, as well as hers, with our fabulous LLR finds!

This weekend, hubs and I went to Orlando for a little R&R with the kids at Sapphire Falls Resort. Since we were on the other side of Hurricane Hermoine, Saturday was a bit of a rainy day for the pool. We decided to go to Dave & Buster’s and let the kids OD in video games whilst we enjoyed some libations. #greatparenting

What did I wear, you ask?Leggings (Lularoe) // Relaxed Tee (Old Navy) // Boyfriend Sweater (Target) // Chuck Taylor’s (Zappos)

My likes:

  • These leggings literally feel like butter on your legs; like a second skin!! You know I like comfort, and this my friends, is the real deal!!!
  • The colors/pattern. One thing that LLR has done for me- allowed me to not be afraid of wearing patterns AND color! Not only did step out of the box, I bust that thing wide open!!! #boom

I have no dislikes so I won’t even bother with that subtitle! 😂

Don’t know about Lularoe?? Come see about it from our petite gal leader. Find her on her Facebook group: LuLaroe ~ Monica Vigner LuLaholics!  On IG? Find her at lularoemovig.

I promise you…you will NOT be sorry!!! And you have been warned!! #shhhhhDONTtellhubby 😂😂😂

Hope you all enjoy this long Labor Day weekend! Hope you are wearing something FABULOUS! Thanks for reading!! ❤️

Petite Fashion Friday (September 2) It’s All About LuLaRoe!

Hey everyone!  I know it has been a minute, but my fmaily and I were enjoying the last few weeks of vacation and I wanted to be all-in with those last precious moments of family time before the hustle and bustle of the school year and fall sports was underway.  We had such a great time during our vacation in Myrtle Beach, and made so many fun memories.  And no one ended up in the ER this trip, so after 4 ER visits with the kids since May, this trip was #WINNING!

The kids are back to school and I am back to the grind.  And I also have some really exciting news!  You guys probably remember that since about June, I have been obsessed with LuLaRoe clothing.  I have featured a number of outfits incorporating the 30+ pieces from LuLaRoe since June.  I seriously have a problem, but what can I say?  I truly, truly love their clothing, which is bold, beautiful, comfy, versatile, and totally affordable – everything I look for in my clothing!  So, during my brief hiatus from Petite Girls Need Clothes Too, I decided that I would become a LuLaRoe fashion consultant!  I am beyond excited and truthfully haven’t been this excited about a new opportunity in quite a while!  I would be so honored if you would check out the end of this post for more information on my new adventure!

But back to the task at hand – Petite Fashion Friday!  Here are some of the outfits I have put together this week.  I’ll go ahead and warn you – they all feature LuLaRoe, but hey, these are truly some cute outfits, and I hope you guys love them as much as I do!

This is the Julia dress from LuLaRoe, which I first talked about in my Hilton Head Island vacation post.  I think I own three Julia now, and I have to say, these dresses are perfect for ALL OF US!  The dress, if you get it in your actual size, is fitted, and gently hugs your assets, without making you feel like a sausage.  Nobody wants to feel like a bratwurst!  And because the Julia is a knee-length dress (or right below the knee if you are on the shorter end of the spectrum), it works so well to wear in the office.

(Shoes: Carlos Santana; Belt: Banana Republic; Bracelet and Necklace: Charming Charlie; Earrings: Francesca’s)

This is the LuLaRoe Cassie skirt, which I know I have posted about before, as well.  I adore this skirt – it is, so far, my favorite LuLaRoe skirt because, well, pencil skirts are my JAM.  I’m sure that is obvious if you have been reading this blog for a while. This Cassie has just a gorgeous print, that can work with so many different colors.

(Top: Loft; Bracelets: Alex & Ani; Earrings: Francesca’s)

img_3300

This is the Gracie top from LuLaRoe.  This is actually a kids style that LuLaRoe makes (it’s the kids version of the Classic Tee, which you have also seen me post about). The Gracie works really well as a casual tee, but also canne dressed up by pairing with a pencil skirt.

(Jeans: J.Crew Factory; Shoes: Target; Belt (came with a pair of capris): Target; Necklace: Charming Charlie)

img_3245

As I said a few pictures up, pencil skirts are my go-to style for the office, but because of LuLaRoe, I also learned just how awesome pencil skirts can be for a casual look!  Isn’t this a cute casual look?!

(Top: H&M; Necklace: Loft; Shoes: Nordstrom Rack (Converse); Bracelets: Alex & Ani)

fullsizerender

And last, but not least, I wore these buttery soft LuLaRoe leggings (size: OS – one size) to run.  Yeah, now that it is cooling off a tad, I have committed to get back to running.  It’s a grueling process, and I am nowhere near I was in January, but I will get back.  The LuLaRoe leggings are perfect for both casual looks AND for working out!  I especially like them for working out because they really kept me cool.  And because they are so buttery soft, I totally forgot how awful I felt running after such a long hiatus.

(Tank: Old Navy; Shoes: Brooks Adrenaline GTS 15; Sunglasses: Nike)
